During Free Comic Book Day in May 2018 the company Nintendo released a free prologue to a series of graphic novels based on Arms… The entire comic was supposed to be published in the fall of 2018, but this did not happen.
Most have already forgotten about the promise, but now information about Arms has appeared on the website of the comic book author Ian Flynn. He claims that the graphic novel was canceled, but does not name the reasons or the time when it happened. In response to direct question the writer said that he could not report anything officially.
Fighting Arms was the first major game to be released on the new Nintendo Switch console. The project was popular, and not only a comic was prepared for it, but also a full-fledged sequel. However, for more than six months, Nintendo has not remembered the game.
