Nintendo explains why it still hasn’t revealed the final title of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

Since the announcement of the sequel to Breath of the Wild in 2019, the name has stuck to the network. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, but in fact the game will not be called that.

The new Zelda will receive its own subtitle, which the company deliberately keeps secret. In a comment to IGN, Nintendo of America Senior Product Marketing Manager Bill Trainen stated that there is a good reason why the game continues to be called simply “the sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild“.

“As for why we’re not revealing the title, you just need to stay tuned, since obviously naming plays an important role in the games in the series. These subheadings give little hints as to what might happen.”

Nintendo yesterday revealed the first gameplay trailer for the game and confirmed the release in 2023 yearOne of the features of the sequel will be an expanded world for exploration, including heavenly locations over Hyrule
