Square enix finally released a major update for NieR: Automata – with it they promised to fix many problems of the original and introduce certain innovations.
The key points were:
the ability to play in full screen mode
Denuvo removal
Fidelity FX support
HDR support
improved anti-aliasing
improved lighting (three settings)
4K interface
fixed bugs in cut-scenes, and also improved bitrate and added support for 60 FPS
switching between fullscreen and windowed modes via Alt + Enter
the mouse cursor is no longer displayed when playing on a gamepad.
The patch weighs about 14 gigabytes and is already available on Steam.
