Cut and unrealized ideas – this is quite an ordinary thing for the gaming industry. Often, some ideas, even those in almost complete condition, simply do not live to see the final version of the game. For enthusiasts, such elements become a real treasure, and they spend dozens of hours carefully studying each line in the file library in the hope of finding at least some clues.
Famous YouTube Blogger Badger goodgerspecializing in the study of various game features Rockstar gamesposted a new video this week. In him fan conducts a large-scale investigation in the hope of finding out about one, apparently, a type of transport cut out from the final game in an action movie Grand theft auto iv – impressive ferries.
Attention first Badger goodger attracted frames from the very first trailer GTA IVwhere you can clearly see a boat similar to ferries that run on the present New york city. As we well know, in the full version of the game there is nothing of the kind, however, a number of locations and some interesting features (such as the NPCs inhabiting them) transparently hint that Rockstar originally had plans to revitalize the water Liberty City.
And despite the fact that there are almost no links to ferries in the files, one interesting find was nevertheless revealed – a small icon for a game card with markings radar_boattour, the presence of which actually confirms that at some point in Grand theft auto iv indeed there were more means to navigate the water.
