Company Capcom posted new images Resident Evil: Village… One of them revealed a complete map of the village, where the events of the game will unfold.
The map is divided into four main locations, and the Dimitrescu castle from the demo is just one of them.… Players will also visit Beneviento’s home, Heisenberg’s factory, and the Moro reservoir, where a monster lives. The places are connected by a village, which will also have its own eerie landmarks, such as a cemetery and so on. Although it does not seem like this is a full-fledged open world, there will definitely be more scope for exploring the locations.
The developers also shared the first details about the mysterious Mother Miranda, which we previously heard from Lady Dimitrescu. It looks like Miranda is something important that the villagers worship as a kind of deity… Capcom showed two partial views of the character (with a masked face): one in a new key art and one in a portrait painting from the game itself.
The developers did not say whether Mother Miranda is a secret villain or anyone else, inviting players to wait for the release and find out everything on their own, but note that she and the inner sides of her character play an important role in the plot of Resident Evil: Village.
