Until recently, Days Gone occupied more than 60 GB of space on the PlayStation 4 hard drive, but thanks to the latest update, the project “lost weight” on 33%. The update weighs 30.763 GB, but after installing it, the total size of the Days Gone files will be reduced to much more sane 38.71 GB.
The patch also introduced a number of optimizations and improvements to the overall stability of the project, but did not add any new content or functions.. Apparently, the main focus of the update was to polish and optimize the game client. The authors also took the opportunity to remind players that all DLC-tests that were added to Days Gone after the release will be available in the game for an unlimited time.
Days Gone is the only PlayStation 4 exclusive game to hit the top 10 downloads PS Store for 2019, beating Death Stranding and God of War. They haven’t officially talked about the sequel yet, but the studio is eager to continue to develop the world of the game and is already planning the preproduction of its next title..
