Although Psychonauts 2 is still scheduled for release this year, the developers of the game have not said anything new about it for a long time.
However, fresh screenshots were leaked online today. Half of the images – not of the best quality – were apparently ripped out of the video, but they give a more detailed look at the gameplay fragments and the hub world inside the Psychonauts headquarters… Three more pictures in the selection are 4K footage published after the “leak” by the authors themselves.
In the sequel Psychonauts, Razputin Aquato fulfilled his long-held dream and finally joined the international psychic espionage organization called “Psychonauts”, but trouble looms over the psychic super-spies. Their leader Truman Zanotto became not himself after the abduction, and a mole was brought up in the headquarters. The main character will have to use his psi-abilities to stop the traitor before he implements a secret plan to resurrect the villainous Maligula from the dead.
Psychonauts 2 is created for Xbox Series X / S, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC… Followers Xbox Game Pass will have access to the game from the first day of release.
