Kommersant with reference to its own sources in the market reports that Netflix started producing local content for Russia. Until now, the service has only bought ready-made series: Epidemic ($ 1.5 million) and Better Than People ($ 1 million).

The first contract has already been signed with the studio 1-2-3 Production (“Dyatlov Pass”, “Epidemic”), which will release a modern version of “Anna Karenina” for the platform.
