We won’t see a new Need for Speed in 2023. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remaster will offer:
- Crossplay in multiplayer – users of all platforms will be able to race together or compete in challenges created based on their activity thanks to the Autolog system with asynchronous mode;
- More content – new cars will not be delivered, but there will be all cars from the previously released DLC, as well as six additional hours of gameplay, including over 30 challenges, new achievements, skins, car colors, updated photo mode and gallery;
- Improved graphics and performance – users will notice improved car models, more objects and obstacles in locations, increased draw range, improved shadows and better quality videos. All of the above features are relevant, including for Switch, and on other platforms, in addition to this, an updated interface and a system of particles, reflections and textures of higher quality, as well as better anti-aliasing will be added;
Technical details:
- On Switch, the game will run in 1080p at 30 FPS when docked and 720p / 30 FPS without it.
- The base versions of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will offer 1080p and 30 FPS. On PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, you can choose between two modes: 4K / 30 FPS or 1080p / 60 FPS;
- The PC port supports 4K at 60 FPS, if the power of the hardware allows you to play in this quality.
