A year earlier, only 15.9 million people watched the championships, which is almost three times lower than in 2019. True, it is worth noting the doubled amount of content – from 719 to 1,544 videos.
It is noted that the overall engagement of the audience – discussions, likes, retweets – increased by 300%.
The number of live viewers also increased: if the final race in November 2018 was watched by about 4 million people, then the victory of the German rider Mikhail Hizal in Monaco was followed by 11.6 million people. The absolute record for Gran Turismo.
