Naughty dog does not work on the continuation of the series Jak & Daxter… This was confirmed by the president of the studio during the podcast The AIAS Game Maker’s Notebook with the head of Insomniac Games Ted Price Evan Wells

According to him, they still receive many requests from fans for the Jak & Daxter comeback. however, now the franchise continues to stand idle – no one is working on a new game. At the same time, Wells noted that the studio still loves these characters and itself is not averse to tackling a new game, especially looking at how Insomniac Games is now successfully developing another PlayStation exclusive from the early 2000s – Ratchet & Clank

The Jak & Daxter series has three main games for the PlayStation 2 that were released from 2001 to 2004, as well as a racing offshoot and two more parts for the PSP. The last release was a reissue compilation of the original trilogy Jak & Daxter Collectionreleased in 2013 on PS Vita and PS3, and in 2017 on PS4.

In 2010, Naughty Dog began planning Jak 4, which was supposed to restart the series in a more realistic style, however the project was eventually canceled.
