Technology Flash at one time became a turning point in the history of the Internet. But three years ago Adobe announced the cessation of development and support Flash player. And then the approximate date of “death” was named – 2023. Now the exact date has become known – December 31.
On this day, the company will remove the download page from the global network, and support for Flash content in browsers will cease. Instead of “flash”, HTML5, WebGL and WebAssembly standards will be used, which have been developing in recent years, including through mobile platforms.
Users are advised to remove Flash Player and refrain from downloading it from third-party sites, especially after the termination of support. Moreover, we note that YouTube, Facebook, as well as other platforms and social networks, have long passed the new standards of video broadcasting.
