Company Technical Director Epic Games Kim Liberi left impressed by the power level Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X. His statement leads the publication Video Games Chronicle.
According to Liberi, in conjunction with the engine Unreal engine 5 new consoles will be able to fulfill his old dream – to display a photorealistic picture comparable to modern feature films.
“The idea that real-time graphics can be as beautiful and convincing as movies is the dream of my life,” Kim Liberi explained.
Before Liberi also expressed confidence that with the advent of the new generation of the game will undergo extremely noticeable and serious changes not only in the matter of the visual part, but also in the game process.
“The new generation of image and computing power will help to create not only more atmospheric games, but also contribute to the emergence of new gameplay concepts implemented through dynamic environments, lighting, improved physics, smart artificial intelligence and more complex multi-user modes,” said the technical director.
