A Consumer Technology Association poll found that 53% of households in the US have at least one game console. This is 10% more than a year earlier.
While 41% of families have legacy devices starting with the Xbox 360, 26% of families have already upgraded to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series.
Another 30% of families plan to buy a console next year, up 9% from a year earlier. PS5 or Xbox Series plans to buy 21% of those surveyed, and PS4, Xbox One or Switch – 15%.
Earlier it became known that in June this year, sales of consoles and hardware in the United States increased by 112% to 401 million dollars.
