Japanese sales of the PlayStation 5 in the first 19 weeks amounted to 517 thousand, sales of the PlayStation 4 during the same time in 2014 – 613 thousand.
As of March 21, 2023, the total difference between the two systems was at the level of 95 thousand, but it is enough to look at the weekly dynamics to understand that the PlayStation 5 will soon take over the championship and go ahead by a margin.
