Author Steamdb told that Valve can work on a loyalty system that will reward users of the company’s digital store with discounts and bonuses.
Pavel Dundik wrote on Twitter that he found hints of creating a system in files Steam. According to him, players will be awarded points with which you can buy award items, increase the level of badges and, possibly, receive discounts on games.
Valve is working on loyalty awards / rewards. It has a point system, and a system to add reactions to user reviews.
Also includes reward items, redeeming points for badge levels, and possiblity game discounts.

Dundik is a well-known in narrow circles developer and dataminer. In combination, he is the creator of SteamDB, a third-party database that sometimes declassifies games coming out on Steam before the announcement.
