Microsoft Edge browser now supports keyboard and mouse on Xbox Series X | S – you can type in Word and surf the web just like on a PC

Web browser Microsoft Edge got full keyboard and mouse support on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox one… This was announced on Twitter by the senior editor of The Verge. Tom Warren, which also showcased the updated app in a couple of short videos.

Xbox owners can now use their input peripherals to surf the net or type online Microsoft Word as on an ordinary stationary computer or laptop. Moreover, keyboard and mouse also work in cloud gaming platform Google Stadia, support for which was added to the browser early last month

At the moment, evaluate the benefits of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium can only testers of the group Alpha Skip-Ahead… The updated browser will be available to other users later.
