Microsoft closes retail stores – review

MicrosoftApparently, she seriously revised her business and closed retail stores. This was originally planned to be done in 2023, but the pandemic seems to have accelerated these plans.

It is reported that in March the corporation closed all offline stores, and still has not returned to service any of 83 around the world. Instead, they plan to expand sales through the official website and the Microsoft Store, which will expand the monthly audience to 1.2 billion people.

It is noted that at least four stores in New York, London, Sydney and Redmond want to transform into Microsoft experience centers so that people can get acquainted with the latest technology companies.

The corporation said that the loss from closure will amount to 450 million dollars. At the same time, we are not talking about the dismissal of employees. They will be transferred to permanent remote work, find a place in Microsoft corporate offices and so on.
