TheWrap announces that Michael Keaton is in the early stages of negotiations with Warner bros about his return to the role Batman in film Flash with Ezra Miller.
TheWrap reporters do not know how big his presence in the tape will be, but The Hollywood Reporter also heard about Keaton’s talks and added that in the expanded cinema universe DC, he is prepared for a role similar to that played by Nick Fury in KVM. It is reported that if the parties agree, Keaton will not only play in Flash, but also appear in other future DCEU films.
THR does not indicate exactly how Batman Keaton will join DCEU, but it can be assumed that Miller’s speedster hero in the story will create a bridge between alternative universes. With a version of Bruce Wayne performed by Keaton, positioned as a Batman Beyond-style mentor, the studio may want to solve the issue of replacing Ben Affleck in this way.
