Yoshi Ikuzo is a famous Japanese enka singer who became famous after the 1984 hit “I’m Going To Tokyo”, in which he announced that he would leave his home in Aomori Prefecture and move to Tokyo. In the original song, Ikuzo sings about the hated village, where there is no electricity, cafes and cinemas. The re-covered version instead mentions shameless local residents, devoid of reason, and the desire to leave for the city to buy the game.

Since its publication, the clip has collected over 3.6 million views and has been trending on Japanese Twitter.
