Media: Remasters of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas will receive modified content to fit modern audiences

On August 12, Kotaku sources announced the development of updated versions Grand theft auto iii, Vice city and San andreas

According to them, all three games are transferred to the Unreal Engine and will be something between remasters and remakes with a mixture of old and new graphics, an updated interface and gameplay as close to the original as possible. Now another interesting point has been added to this information.

Edition Gematsu confirms the words about the updated trilogy, but at the same time heard other information. Allegedly, the re-releases of the old parts of GTA will receive some changes in the content, so that the games meet the requirements of the modern audience.

The journalists of the portal did not specify the details of what exactly they are talking about, but there may be several options, up to censorship. The fact is that the Grand Theft Auto series is famous for its satire on American life, culture and politics, and given the modern agenda and all kinds of movements, some episodes and scenes can now be regarded as especially offensive.

According to rumors, the updated trilogy is being created by Rockstar Dundee (formerly Ruffian Games) for all current platforms, including two generations of Xbox and PlayStation, PC, Switch and smartphones. The release may take place in October-November this year.
