The nextgen-optimized version of The Avengers will offer faster downloads, higher resolution textures, improved particle effects, higher quality ambient occlusion and anisotropic filtering, more detailed destruction, as well as support for 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. Owners of old and new consoles will be able to play with each other within the same platform family.
In addition to this, the PlayStation 5 version of Avengers will have DualSense controller tactile feedback and spatial audio capabilities.
All current owners of physical and digital copies of Marvel’s Avengers on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the nextgen version for free.
