As you know, when creating Diablo II: Resurrected the developers redrawn all the cinematics from scratch, leaving only the voice acting from the original.
In preparation for open testing, Blizzard Entertainment invited gamers to watch the updated cinematic videos from the first and second acts of the game, both of which will be available in the upcoming beta.
On the example of a video with a comparison prepared by the GameSpot portal, you can see how large-scale work on the reconstruction of the cinematics has been done by a team of specialists… From lighting to effects and animation, the updated videos look like a huge step forward from the original, while remaining as authentic as possible in atmosphere and setting.
Early access to the beta version of Diablo 2: Resurrected will be open to pre-customers from August 13 to 17, after which, from August 22 to 23, everyone will be able to join the test. The game itself comes out on September 23rd.
