Publisher Daybreak Games and studio Cold iron officially announced a new game in the film universe “Alien“(Alien). This is a co-op shooter with a third-person view Aliens: Fireteam.
The story in the game starts 23 years after the events of the film “Alien 3 “… Taking control of one of the colonial marines, the player will have to fight back the horde of xenomorphs.
In Aliens: Fireteam, four story campaigns (three missions in each) will be available at release, the events of which will unfold in different locations. The latter may be familiar to fans of the franchise.
The developers have created about 20 variants of enemies with unique abilities and behavior. If players want more serious challenges, then they are free to choose one of five difficulty levels.
When it comes to playable characters, Cold Iron has given freedom of choice. The appearance and equipment of the Marines can be customized independently, and for passing you will be rewarded with additional cosmetic items (armor, helmets, and so on).
The release of Aliens: Fireteam will take place on consoles and PC in the summer of 2023.
