Lucasfilm broke her contract with Gina Carano, MMA fighter and actress who played Cara Dune in “The Mandalorian“- she will no longer appear in this show or in other projects on”Star Wars“.
The decision was made because of Carano’s Instagram statements, where she compared modern Republicans in the United States to Jews during World War II and the Holocaust. The words sparked controversy among the audience, and many opposed her further participation in the show around the universe.
It should be noted that the actress’s political statements have attracted negative attention before. At the same time, the UTA agency has now severed ties with Carano.
Currently on Disney + two seasons of The Mandalorian were released – the third is rumored to begin filming in April.
