Studio Asmodee Digitalknown by Gloomhaven, Ticket to Ride and A Game of Thrones: The Board Game, has released a gameplay trailer for her upcoming detective adventure Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace… And in it she told about the main features of the upcoming game.
Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace is set in 1926. The astronomy professor is found dead in her mansion, all indications that she was the victim of a brutal murder. The investigation is entrusted to a dozen detectives from a series of board games Arkham horror, each with a unique skill set and their own team.
Players will have to search for clues throughout nine chapters, conduct interrogations, visit mysterious locations from the Lovecraft universe, and even fight enemies in turn-based battles. Faced with nightmares, the heroes plunge into the depths of madness, and their level affects the course of the investigation.
