Role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to be released on April 16, but today – exactly three months before the release – studio CD Projekt RED posted a post announcing important news: project premiere postponed.
At the same time, this is not about a few weeks: the transfer postponed the release dates of Cyberpunk 2077 as much as five months, to September 17th. The main reason, as in most cases, is one – the desire of developers not to face the dirt and release the highest quality product.
According to representatives of the studio, at the moment, Cyberpunk 2077 is at a stage when the main production is already behind and the project can be played, however, due to the huge scale and complexity of the development, the creators took more time to test and polish. Authors want “Cyberpunk“became their main achievement in this generation and the delay in launching will give them the precious months necessary to make the game perfect in every way.
