Chinese holding Tencent acquired a minority stake in the company for € 30 million Dontnod entertainment… This became known from the text official press release series creators Life is Strange and action Vampyr… The studio’s total capital, including investments from Tencent, increased by € 40 million.
As part of this investment, the Chinese company received an option to appoint a representative to the Dontnod Entertainment board of directors. The French studio intends to use the raised funds to develop the strategy of independent publishing of its games around the world on PC, consoles and mobile platforms.
Last year Dontnod entertainment released two adventure games: Tell me why and Twin mirror… The studio is currently preparing six new games at once, including Life is Strage 3…
