Fans of Naughty Dog are trying to fight back, but so far ill-wishers have won in a meaningless “war”: negative reviews at the time of this writing – 2.464, positive – 863.
Traditionally, on the Metacritic website, user reviews can write everything at all – you don’t even need to buy a game for this. And such a system traditionally makes the pages of some high-profile releases a real hotbed of trolls.
Obviously, in the end, the game will surely have both fans and opponents, but with ratings of 0 points, The Last of Us: Part II began to fill up at night – as soon as it was unlocked in the PlayStation Store. Users claim that the novelty is “a deflection in front of feminists and LGBT people, a real spit in the face of fans”, although they certainly couldn’t pass it in such a short period of time, like those who are trying to fight back from Naughty Dog haters with ratings of 10 out of 10. This once again demonstrates the pointlessness of the Metacritic user reviews section.
The judgments of many negative moods are based on spoilers that leaked into the network long before the premiere. The plot is called “terrible.”
