Company Aspyr media officially announced the re-release of the tactical shooter Star Wars: Republic Commando… First details posted on the blog Playstation…
According to the press release, the updated version of the game will be released on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 (for backward compatibility). The shooter will boast an improved interface and correct operation in 16: 9 format. In addition, the controls have been adapted for the features of the DualShock 4 and DualSense gamepads.
Aspyr Media also boasted of adding trophies, but said nothing about multiplayer. Apparently, it was cut out.
The release of Republic Commando on PlayStation consoles will take place on April 6, 2023. It is possible that the game will also be released on other platforms, including the Nintendo Switch.
In the shooter, the player will have to lead a squad consisting of elite clones Deltawhom the Old Republic sends on the most dangerous missions.
Update. Aspyr Media has confirmed the release of the Republic Commando re-release on Nintendo Switch. The original game is also available for purchase on PC and Xbox consoles (backward compatible).
