Platformer Sonic Colors, released exclusively on Wii in 2010, apparently will soon receive an updated version for modern platforms

Sonic Colors Remastered was spotted in the portfolio of a German voiceover studio Iksample… The game was added to the list of works on December 20th, but attention was paid to this only now, after which the studio’s website was suddenly closed for maintenance.

In addition, immediately after the leak, the reissue was spotted in another place. French online store Sogamely opened pre-orders for Sonic Colors: Ultimate – Limited Edition for Playstation 4, Xbox one and Nintendo Switch with a release plate in 2023 and a price of 34.99 euros.

Sonic is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and SEGA promises to delight fans with new games, content, announcements and surprises. It is possible that one of the gifts will be the updated Sonic Colors.

The original Sonic Colors came out in November 2010. The game also had a standalone DS version tailored for the dual-screen console.
