Dataminer under the nickname Zer0Bytes posted on Twitter some screenshots of an unannounced game from the publisher Ubisoft… This is a project codenamed The Division: BattleCat…
According to preliminary data, we are talking about a PVP crossover, which will become part of the franchise Tom Clansy’s… In particular, the following factions are featured in the game:
- “Fourth echelon” (Echelon) from Splinter cell;
- “Wolves“(Wolves) from Ghost Recon: Breakpoint;
- “Cleaners“(Cleaners) from The division;
- “Outcasts“(Outcasts) from The Division 2.
There are also mentions of two modes:
- Escort – escorting a robot with a load to the evacuation point. The latter resembles a walking drone from Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (or development Boston dynamics).
- Ringleader – it is necessary to collect rings that drop out of killed enemies. The player with the most rings becomes the Leader. He needs to survive for 30 seconds, after which the accumulated money is sent to the “bank”.
There is no further confirmation of the leak, but this “hodgepodge” from Ubisoft should be released on PC and consoles. At the same time, Zer0Bytes calls the game not just BattleCatbut The Division: BattleCat…
The fact is that Ubisoft recently announced a shareware game The Division: Heartland, which will allow a “new” look at the franchise. The studio is responsible for its development Ubisoft red storm, which just specializes in the writer’s legacy Tom Clancy (Ghost recon, Rainbow six and The division).
However, BattleCat may turn out to be a completely separate development. Dataminer also addedthat Ubisoft is developing a new game codenamed Ghost Recon: OVR.
