Asus published data on the future motherboard TUF Gaming Z490-PLUS (Wi-Fi). These data “surfaced” on the official website of the company almost immediately after the appearance of data on other boards for new processors.
Judging by the photo, the novelty is equipped with a powerful power subsystem for the socket LGA 1200 under processors Intel tenth generation. In addition, this board is clearly designed for overclocking, which will increase the load on the board as a whole.
Other features include:
- Four slots for DDR4 RAM
- Two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots
- Three PCIe 3.0 x1
- Two M.2 Solid State Drives
- Four SATA III
- Built-in wireless Wi-Fi adapter (version not specified).
It is still unknown when the new product will enter the market and how much it will cost. But, most likely, sales will start in May, when the processors themselves are expected to exit Intel Comet Lake-S. Their announcement is expected on May 30.
