League of Legends championship postponed due to proliferation of dangerous coronavirus

Largest Chinese Championship League of Legends was postponed indefinitely due to an outbreak of coronavirus, which is rapidly spreading throughout the country. This was followed by local e-sports journalists by the official English-language LPL Twitter account.

The second week of the LPL was supposed to begin on February 5, after a break in connection with the celebration of the Chinese New Year. However, it has now been announced that it has been postponed indefinitely.

“We decided to postpone the second week of the LPL until we can ensure the safety of our players and fans,” the English account of the LPL said. “We sincerely apologize to our fans for this situation, and we will share any information as soon as we can. Be safe and thank you all for your support!”

The new coronavirus, which was first detected in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has already infected more than 1,300 people. More than 40 people died as of Saturday, and now the cases of the disease are confirmed in Asia, the USA, Europe and Australia.
