Lakefield Intel Core i5-L15G7 processor appears in benchmark

In the benchmark database GeekBench 5 new processor appeared Intel Core i5-L15G7 family Lakefield. This chip received the big.LITTLE layout, which means combining low-power and more productive cores on one substrate.
The current chip combines four cores Tremont and one Sunny cove (all are performed using a 10-nanometer process technology), as well as memory, I / O and other peripherals (with a 22-nanometer process technology). The dimensions of the case are 12 x 12 x 1 mm, the heat packet does not exceed 5-7 watts. The cache is 1.5 MB L2 and 4 MB L3.
According to the source, the base frequency reaches 1.4 GHz, while in the test the chip accelerated to 2.95 GHz. Apparently, this is the frequency of the “big” core. As a result, the chip scored 725 points in the single-core test, and in the multi-core – 1566 points.
Note that the first metric is about twice as good as the mobile Snapdragon 835, while the second is at the same level. And here is a comparison with a more productive model Snapdragon 8cx demonstrates the similarity of single-threaded performance. At the same time, multithreaded is much less – by almost 80%.
It has not yet been announced when the Lakefield processors will appear on the market, but, obviously, they will be available as part of the new dual-screen devices.
