Kickstarter raises money for a compact mechanical keyboard – review

Crowdfunding site Kickstarter collecting money for the keyboard Atreus. It is compact in size and is equipped with full-size buttons based on Kailh mechanical switches.

Most interestingly, the number of buttons is only 44. There is no digital block on the right and the top row of keys with numbers, as well as function buttons. However, the development claims that the available is enough for work. It is important to note that the buttons can be reprogrammed for you.

It is stated that the switches are designed for 70 million clicks. In this case, you can choose their type: with a tactile response, click or linear. USB is used for connection.

Deliveries should begin in August. The pre-order price starts at $ 99 (almost 8000 at the current rate, excluding taxes and fees). Note that more than 145 thousand dollars have already been collected and the requested 25 thousand. And there are still 26 days ahead of the campaign.
