Kerbal Space Program received a major update to Shared Horizons – review

Private division and Squad together with European Space Agency released Shared Horizons PC update Kerbal Space Program, which all owners of the simulator received for free. The patch will reach the consoles later this year.

The main innovation was two missions of the European Space Agency – BepiColombo and Rosetta.

In the first, players have to reach orbit and land on Moho (Mercury), performing various scientific tasks of a real mission. The second mission, in turn, pays tribute to the successful landing of the probe on the surface of the comet of the Jupiter family.

To make the implementation of the Rosetta mission possible, the developers added comets to the Kerbal Space Program, which now plow open spaces of the in-game Solar System. They are available for discovery and visit in all game modes.

In addition, new details, scientific experiments and options for existing spare parts were added to the game, and the gas giant Jool (Jupiter) and its satellite Laythe received new high-resolution textures and graphic shaders.

Finally, the developers have made some improvements and corrections. The full list of changes is here. Recall that earlier release Kerbal Space Program 2 postponed until at least the fall of 2023.
