  • The structure of many tasks and the overall plot narrative will also undergo major changes. Instead of aimless travels across the continent, Eivor will go on an adventure from his settlement, for example, after hearing about some interesting events in the region or the appearance of prominent people there. Accordingly, many missions will not be directed at all at aimless killings and robbery, but on the contrary, at diplomatic attacks that can end with interesting strategic alliances.

  • Management will remain much the same as in Origins and Odyssey. All military operations are tied to triggers and controller shifts, however, a new wheel will be added to them for quick selection of equipment and items.
  • Despite the fact that you will have the opportunity to choose the floor of Aivor, the developers are not in a hurry to tell how exactly this will affect the storyline. When asked whether a repetition of the situation with Odyssey (bypassing the spoilers), Ashraf Ismail chose to evade a direct answer.

  • The system of general game progress also received corrections and balance. The main goal of the authors “Valhalla“- to avoid situations where you may encounter content that is too tough for you, simply because your character does not have enough skills or appropriate equipment. As for the microtransaction system, it will be in the game, but it’s going to be implemented approach with great attention so as not to force the audience to spend extra money.
