Jill Valentine protected by Denuvo – Capcom will provide PC version of Resident Evil 3 with built-in DRM

All latest news Capcom for PC were protected by anti-piracy system Denuvo. In some projects, like Monster Hunter: World and Devil May Cry 5, it is used to this day, and from others it was cut out some time after the release. The latter include Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil 2, but this does not mean that the upcoming remake Resident evil 3 will remain without DRM.

According to the information that appeared on the news page in Steam, computer version of Resident Evil 3 will use Denuvo’s built-in protectionat least at the start of sales for sure. Last year’s RE2, for example, was hacked a week after the release, so Capcom no longer needed to leave the controversial DRM – it was removed from the game in December.

The release of the updated Resident Evil 3 will take place on April 3rd. The other day, Capcom has announced a European collector’s edition of the game for 17,500 rubles.
