Jeff Grubb stated that Horizon forbidden west followed in the footsteps God of War: Ragnarök and was postponed to 2023. The information has not been officially confirmed.
In the Giant Bomb podcast, the famous insider mentioned that Sony will host another State Of Play broadcast in September. It is unclear whether the release will be dedicated to the game Guerrilla Games, however, according to Grubb, the publisher will try to fill in the resulting void in this way.
“I think at the September State of Play they will say, ‘Look, there are other things coming out this fall, we have a bunch of exciting projects, don’t worry,’ and then they will move Horizon Forbidden West to 2023.”
Horizon Forbidden West is currently in development for PS5 and PS4. According to the latest official data, the game is going to be released in 2023. On the next generation console, the project will support a performance mode with 60 FPS, as well as ray tracing technology.
