Leading Japanese gaming publications Famitsu and Dengeki conducted among their readers a large survey on the best games of 2019. Journalists shared the general results today on a joint stream. Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2019.
Adventure Action Leader in Victory Death stranding – He received the largest number of votes in four categories. In this case, the project manager Hideo Kojimu called the “most valuable developer” – the best developer of the year.
However, the main award of the Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2019 ceremony was not taken by Death Stranding with Hideo Kojima, but Pokemon sword and Pokemon shield for Nintendo switch. They won the category “Best Game of 2019”.
Prize for best script received 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim from Atlus and Vanillaware for Playstation 4. In the West, this game has not yet been released – it is expected until the end of 2023.
