James Gunn said that he had completed work on the installation of a new “Suicide squad”, and the studio Warner Bros. did not interfere with production.
Gann added that he received only a small number of edits in general, and also made all the creative decisions himself. He was extremely pleased with his partnership with Warner – after all, the studio did not even press on him if he did not want to make some adjustments.
The director also said that the trailer for the tape should be expected not in May or June, as there were rumors, but “earlier.” True, he did not name the date.
Gunn is busy filming now “Peacemaker” – a series about the hero of John Cena from The Squad, and the film itself will be released on HBO Max on August 6.
