According to media reports, J.K.Simmons may return to the role of Gotham Police Commissioner James Gordon in a solo film about Batgirl…
Simmons reprized the role of Gordon in Justice League and, as previously known, his contract included appearances in three more films after that. But after changing course Warner Bros. the DC MCU plan seems to have changed.
Batgirl is being created for the HBO Max streaming service, which is expected to come out next year. The authors of the triquel are responsible for the production. Bad Boys, and the main role will be played by Leslie Grace (“At the height of a dream”).
By the way, in the new “Batman” with Robert Pattinson the role of Gordon is played by Jeffrey Wright (“World of the Wild West”).
