After the leak this morning in the network of the first screenshots Crysis: remastered users of the ResetEra forum compared the re-release of the shooter with similar frames from the original computer version of the game.
The first thing that catches your eye is the changed lighting. The picture in the remaster acquired brighter colors and began to resemble the original Far Cry more than Crysis with its slant in yellow tones. This can be attributed to both pluses and minuses, however, the exact republishing loses to the original is the vegetation – for some reason, its reprinting has become smaller, which is clearly seen in the example of a screenshot with the beach. Palm trees in the foreground and trees in the mountain area have thinned noticeably.
At the same time, due to the play of light and shadows, the jungle has become more voluminous, and reflections from small objects are now drawn on the water surface and more pronounced sun glare has appeared. The shadows were also improved, although in general the graphics no longer cause the wow effect as it was in 2007.
