Franchise “Inuyasa – Dog Demon” Rumiko Takahashi will receive the next anime adaptation. This time it’s about a branch Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, which will simultaneously be a continuation of the central plot, as well as tell a completely new story. The exact dates for the premiere and the first teaser will be presented later.
Synopsis reads as follows:
“The daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyashi set off on a journey through time.
In feudal Japan, the half-demon twins Tova and Setsuna are separated by a raging forest fire. In an attempt to find his little sister, Tova stumbles upon a mysterious tunnel that sends her to the distant future, where the Higurasi family takes her.
A decade later, the time tunnel reopens, and Tova finally reunites with her sister, now turned into a real demon hunter and completely forgetting her past life. Soon Morokha, daughter of Inuyashi and Kagome, joins the girls, and a new trio of heroes have to go on a dangerous journey in the hope of finding out the secret of their amazing past.
The studio is responsible for the production of the series. Sunrise, the director will be Teruo Sato.
Original Manga “Inuyasa – Dog Demon“came out from 1996 to 2008. In 2000, the broadcast of the first anime adaptation of 167 episodes began. And in 2010, the sequel premiered, including 26 more episodes.
