IN Intel recently admitted that they will not be able to release their 7nm processors before 2023. This recognition cost the company dearly – shares fell more than 16%, and many executives were fired or will do so in the near future.
But that is not all. Not only that stock AMD for the first time in 15 years became more expensive than that of the “blue giant”, so also a law firm Hagens Berman approached Intel investors with a proposal for a class action lawsuit against the corporation.
Lawyers suggest investigating possible fraud, as well as concealment of technological errors in the design and manufacture of CPUs. Intel CEO Robert Swan is believed to have known this, as did other top managers, but did nothing.
According to Hagens Berman experts, the company deliberately hid the defects of 7-nanometer processors from investors, repeatedly declaring that the chips would enter the market in 2023. But now if this happens, it will only be at the expense of TSMC…
At the moment, a claim has not yet been filed, and it is unclear when this will be done.
