During the broadcast Xbox Games Showcase company Microsoft officially announced next game in the series Fable. Development was entrusted to the studio Playground Gamespreviously engaged in the race Forza horizon.
Immediately after the presentation, a rumor appeared on the network about the belonging of the new Fable to the MMORPG genre. It was spread by a French journalist Tanguy K. Toussaint, citing his own sources. As the credibility of his words, he cited a list of games received before the event that were supposed to be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase.

I can confirm that the rumors that Fable will be an MMO are not true.
Official comments from Microsoft and Playground Games have not yet been reported. The new Fable is currently in development for the Xbox Series X and PC.
