Insider: Elden Ring release from the creators of Dark Souls and Bloodborne is not worth the wait in the coming months

Known for true gaming leaks Fromsoftware insider Omnipotent reported that Elden ring from Hidetaki Miyazaki and George Martin will not be released in the coming months. Many fans expected to see the game in June – rumor about such a release window appeared in early 2023however, according to the informant, it is false.

“Now it should be completely clear to you that the game will not be released in June 2023,” the insider wrote.

Elden Ring was unveiled at E3 2019, but there has not been a single gameplay demo in the past nine months. Developers are also in no hurry to share the details of their project. Omnipotent writes that FromSoftware and Bandai Namco will make all the necessary announcements “when they are ready.”

An insider also said that Elden Ring is created on an improved version of its own FromSoftware engine. Unreal engine 4, according to him, is definitely not used.

As you know, structurally Elden Ring will be different from past studio work. This game will offer a more open world, the ability to move on a horse, a dynamic change of day and night and the weather system, so the developers modified their own tools for working with such elements. They also paid great attention to the lighting system, Omnipotent pointed out, as a result of which, for example, the dawn will feel just like dawn, not midday.
