For Honor Changes Combat System To Improve Balance – review Addiction

For Honor has announced plans to make massive changes to the combat system to achieve better balance.

Since release, many players have used the same tricks to win, for example, spamming with almost unblockable light attacks. This should come to an end with the coming update.

The action team has identified three key tasks to accomplish:

  • Bring all battle styles to a common denominator
  • Increase the effectiveness of attacks
  • Reduce the effectiveness of weak hits.

In a fresh video, a representative of Ubisoft Montreal talks in some detail about the upcoming changes, where, for example, light attacks will do less damage, and the effectiveness of counterattacks and parries will decrease.

Additionally, players will no longer lose stamina if they fail to deal damage.

While the developers do not even name the approximate release date of the update.
