On the official french site Playstation there was information that the controller Dualshock 5 will be able to work in conjunction with the console Playstation 4. The device is marked with Dualshock 4 (DS4) in the compatibility table with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 Pro as DS5.
There is currently no such information on PlayStation sites in other regions, however, it has not been deleted from the French page even after publications in the media.
The DualShock 5 controller will come with the PlayStation 5 console by default, which is due to debut in the fall of 2023.
Presumably, the gamepad will be equipped with four additional buttons on the back side, which were absent in DualShock 4, and will not receive the Home button. In December, a description of a new patent.
